ISO 9001 is a general standard that includes the requirements to create quality management system in organisations. Its newest version is MSZ EN ISO 9001:2009. At the end of 2015, significant changes are going to be introduced that are intended to ensure that ISO 9001 continues to adapt to the changing environments in which organizations operate.

ISO 9001 serves as a guide for companies that aim to improve their quality and make sure that their products and services continously meet the customers’ needs.

First of all, it contains requirements of creating a quality and customer focused perspective by rethinking goals, corporate regulations and internal policies.
